For the French Society of Spinal Surgery (SFCR), Hélène Fournié designed a series of medical illustrations for patient information sheets, in collaboration with Dr T. Cloché, spine surgeon at Polyclinique Bordeaux Nord. This work of pedagogical visual design illustrates pediatric and adolescent scoliosis, from the normal spine to the corrected, instrumented spine (pedicle screws), based on clinical radiographs provided by the practitioner.
